• 8:06 AM- Tony leaves the residence he shared with my sister, Crystal McCrory Jones, at 1438 LA-2 Oak Grove, LA 71263

• 8:54 AM- Tony arrives at what was confirmed as 5503 Candice Lane in Bastrop, LA 71220 to work on a refrigerator for Darrin Billings

• 9:59 AM- Tony leaves 5503 Candice Lane in Bastrop.

• 10:35 AM- Time originally typed on coroner’s report written by West Carroll Parish Coroner Lewis Carter (deceased 9/17/25)

• 10:53 AM- Tony arrives at 305 E Main St., Oak Grove, LA 71263 which is marked as “Work” in Tony's google account. This address belongs to the West Carroll Sheriff’s Department. 

• 11:00 AM- Crystal’s estimated time of injury, as reflected on her certified, state issued death certificate, signed by West Carroll Parish Coroner, Lewis Carter. 

  • This is also the time that is discussed at the 7:10 mark in the recorded phone call from March 21, 2023 between West Carroll Parish Sheriff Scott Mathews and myself.

  • Additionally, Tony is asked about this time in a recorded TikTok live on January 1, 2026. Tony states that the coroner (Lewis Carter) was scolded and reprimanded by his superiors for putting this time on her (Crystal’s) death certificate because it wasn’t his job. He was only supposed to put in the time he found her.” He goes on to state that “We (west carroll parish) does not have an ME (medical examiner), the coroner just goes and picks it (referring to a body disrespectfully) up”

• 11:09 AM- Tony leaves 305 East Main Street, Oak Grove, LA

• 11:11 AM- Tony arrives at 105 Constitution Ave., Oak Grove, LA, also known as the Bakery Barn

• 11:53 AM- Tony leaves 105 Constitution Ave.

• 12:01 PM- Tony arrives at Forrest High School located at 158 Clover Street, Oak Grove, LA. This is where Detective Allen Irby states Tony was at “all day, working.” 

• 1:16 PM- A FedEx package was delivered to the residence of Tony and Crystal but no one answered the door. ** will be discussed further in this document

• 2:43 PM- Tony checks out his daughter from Forrest High School and leaves. 

• 3:25 PM- Tony arrives at Sonic Drive-In located at 806 E Main St., Oak Grove, LA

• 3:57 PM- Tony leaves Sonic Drive-In and takes 6 minutes to drive what should only be a 3 minute drive, 1.5 miles

• 4:03 PM- Tony arrives at Walmart Supercenter located at 705 Constitution Ave.

• 4:11 PM- Tony leaves Walmart Supercenter

• 4:16 PM- Tony’s google search shows he searched for “east carroll medical clinic lake providence la” from a Galaxy S8+ phone.

Exhibit 2G- Google Timeline map of the route Tony took- Day of Death- February 9, 2023

• 4:44 PM- I received a call from my brother, Dane McCrory, stating that he had just gotten off the phone with Tony. Tony had called to tell Dane that our sister, Crystal McCrory Jones, was just found dead in their home. Tony stated to Dane that he had called Officer Chuck Harris to go do a "welfare check on Crystal,” because he had a karate studio “full of students” at the time. Google timeline location records show that Tony drove aimlessly to several different locations after checking his daughter out of school. Chuck Harris was the one who discovered Crystal’s body. 

In a later, recorded statement from January 1, 2026, Tony states that he had a “gut feeling something was wrong”, which was his reasoning for the welfare check.

Exhibit 3- Jana phone records- February 9, 2023

• 4:51 PM- Tony arrives at the residence he shared with my sister, Crystal McCrory Jones. It took him 14 minutes to get from the last verified address on Constitution Ave to his residence, after being told his wife was dead. 14 minutes is the exact time it should take for this drive while doing the speed limit. Mr. Jones did not rush at all to his residence. 

• 4:52 PM- I leave my residence in Bastrop, Louisiana and drove to their home at in Oak Grove, LA 

• 5:08 PM- I arrived at their residence. What should have been a 26 minute drive, only took me 16 minutes and I had to factor in going through 3 towns, aside from Tony only having to travel within one town.

  • Upon arrival, there were a couple of marked patrol cars along the side of the road with their emergency lights initiated, as well as a coroner’s type vehicle pulled into the driveway. The front yard was roped off with yellow crime scene tape.

  • On the scene, I was met by Tony. He embraced me and simply stated, “It’s a single gunshot wound to the head.”

  • Without response, I proceeded to walk and stand at the furthest corner of the yellow crime scene tape, closest towards the road and nearest the coroner type vehicle.

  • I was approached by Tony’s teenage daughter who simply hugged me, with no tears, and said “my best friend is dead.”

  • Tony stood about 3-4 feet from me. A gentleman approached Tony and stated to him “We STILL have to send her body off for an autopsy.” That gentleman then proceeded to drive the coroner type vehicle out of the driveway and back it into the driveway.

  • Tony then looked at me and stated “I kinda hate to ask this, but do you want her services in Bastrop or Oak Grove?” I very sternly replied by saying “Bastrop.”

  • As more of Tony’s family seemed to appear out of nowhere (some were there when I arrived and others arrived after I got there), only 2 approached me to talk to me. These two individuals were Sherry Graves-Charrier and Angie Robinson.

  • Sherry Graves-Charrier proceeded to try to tell me how sad my sister was and depressed. She tried to talk about how my sister’s medication and antidepressant regime was the cause of her suicide. She was emphatic that the signs were there all along and that “no matter how many silly memes she sent her” she just wouldn’t laugh.

  • During this long spill about my sister’s bout of depression that she apparently knew all about, the guy with the coroner-like vehicle advised Tony they would be bringing her body out soon.

  • It was at this time that Tony looked at me and said “Come on Jana, you don’t need to see her like this.” I responded very sternly and said “see her like what Tony??!!?!”

  • Tony and his sister, Sherry, walked away, as I stood there, never once acknowledged by any of the cops, investigators, or coroner as being her sister, waiting for them to bring my sister, my flesh and blood out in a body bag. Angie Robinson, a cousin, maybe sister, of Tony came out of nowhere, grabbed my right hand, and said “I know you don't know me and we are not family, but you don’t need to do this alone.” 

  • That one act of kindness let me know my sister was still around. She made sure someone was going to be there to watch after her baby sister one last time.

  • Throughout the 34 minutes that I was there, I witnessed all of Tony’s family being called by their first names by the coroner and law enforcement on scene. Not once did any law enforcement official ask who I was.

• 5:42 PM- I left their residence and drove back to Bastrop.

• 5:56 PM- Tony left the scene at his residence and drove 12.2 miles, which took him 42 minutes

• 6:38 PM- Tony arrived again at 305 E Main St. Oak Grove, LA which is the address to the West Carroll Sheriff’s Department

• 7:28 PM- I texted a sheriff friend of mine to ask for his help, Mike Tubbs.

  • Mike, this is Jana. 

“Hey I know it’s out of your jurisdiction but I need some help desperately. My sister died tonight in West Carroll Parish. Right now it’s under investigation as a suicide but I just want to be sure nothing is left untouched, because this just isn’t my sister. Maybe I’m in denial but please please help if you can to be sure they look for anything suspicious. Her name is Crystal McCrory Jones.

• His response: “I will speak to them over there. We are flying home tonight”

• 8:56 PM-I texted a law enforcement friend of mine in Morehouse Parish to ask for help. Libby Brixey

  • “Hey I know it’s out of your jurisdiction but I need some help desperately. My sister died tonight in West Carroll Parish. Right now it’s under investigation as a suicide but I just want to be sure nothing is left untouched, because this just isn’t my sister. Maybe I’m in denial but please please help if you can to be sure they look for anything suspicious. Her name is Crystal McCrory Jones. Libby, my heart hurts so bad. Me and my brothers told my mom and she lost it. I feel nothing but numb.

  • Her response: “Do you know who’s working it SO or PD?”

  • My response: SO. Her husband, Tony Jones, used to work for the Sheriff Office there as a deputy, and they relayed information to him that they wouldn’t even relay to me… for example.

    • It was a single gunshot wound to the head.

    • They were sending her off for autopsy (they tried to whisper that while i was 3 feet away)

    • They said out loud that they didn’t suspect foul play
